The Department of Economics and Management at CY Cergy Paris Université (formerly : Université de Cergy-Pontoise) invites applications for an assistant/associate professor position, scheduled to start on September 1, 2023. After a period of 5 years (or possibly less depending on past experience and publication record), a decision for promotion to the position of full professor will be made.

We welcome applications from candidates in all fields of finance and in related fields of economics and econometrics. The successful candidate should have demonstrated an ability to produce high quality research and have completed his or her PhD before the starting date of the contract. Ability to teach in French is not required, but will be taken into consideration in the tenure evaluation.

The position benefits from a junior research chair covering the first five years of employment. It entails a substantial teaching reduction (2/3 of the regular teaching load) over the five-year period. It also provides substantial research funding.
